Statement of Faith
Our Beliefs
The Bible – We believe the Bible is God’s inspired Word, true and trustworthy, and our final authority in all matters of faith and life. (2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21)
God – We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
Jesus Christ – We believe Jesus Christ is God’s eternal Son who became man, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose again, ascended to heaven, and will return in glory. (John 1:1,14; Philippians 2:5–11; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:9–11)
The Holy Spirit – We believe the Holy Spirit is fully divine, present in the world to convict of sin, bring new life, and empower believers to live faithfully. (John 16:7–13; Romans 8:9–11; Galatians 5:22–23)
Salvation – We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. All who repent and believe are forgiven, adopted into God’s family, and given eternal life. (Ephesians 2:8–9; John 3:16; Romans 10:9–10)
The Church – We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, a community of baptized believers called to worship, grow in Christ, and make disciples of all nations. (Matthew 16:18; Acts 2:42–47; Ephesians 4:11–16)
Baptism & The Lord’s Supper – We believe baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances given by Jesus: baptism as a public symbol of new life in Him, and the Lord’s Supper as a reminder of His sacrifice and promised return. (Matthew 28:19–20; Romans 6:3–4; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26)
Christian Living – We believe followers of Jesus are called to love God and others, pursue holiness, strengthen families, and live as witnesses of the Gospel. (Micah 6:8; Matthew 22:37–40; Romans 12:1–2; Ephesians 5:1–2)
The Future – We believe Jesus will return to judge the living and the dead, bringing eternal joy to believers and justice to the world. (John 14:1–3; 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; Revelation 21:1–4)
